the new normal

normal is brand new toys lasting less than 15 minutes intact.  normal is waking up to a sweet puppy sitting next to the bed waiting for you to wake up.  normal is going upstairs for less than 10 minutes and finding this downstairs:

normal is coming home to molly genuinely ecstatic you are home.  normal is watching molly buck like a horse from excitement when you even go near her food bin.  normal is molly barking furiously at the bug man because she thinks i might be in danger.  normal is molly digging up freshly planted flowers within a day.  normal is molly following us around like a shadow because she desperately wants our attention.

she's crazy sweet, destructively wild & lovingly protective.  and we wouldn't have her any other way! 

{although i could do without the flower eating!!}
