'Tis the Season

I am thrilled that the CHRISTmas season is finally here! It is my favorite holiday by far! I don't think there is anything about this season I don't love! The music, the lights, the decorations & the celebration of our Lord and Savior's birth! My Christmas music is playing in full force, the tree is decorated, the stockings are hung, but that's about all. Thanksgiving break just wasn't quite long enough to get everything decorated. That means we have boxes upon boxes all over our house with Christmas decorations just waiting to be unpacked. My next goal is to get the presents wrapped so I can put them under the tree!

Matilda wanted to help Reed cut down the tree!

We had a wonderful Thanksgiving with both of our families. We ate lunch at my parents' house then headed off to Lake Martin to celebrate with Reed's side of the family. The lake was beautiful this time of year! We had a mini photo shoot with our nephew Ian and got lots of great pictures. I can't believe how big he is getting!

The Nike+ challenge is going well. We are on Day 20 and haven't given up! Last night's walk was EXTREMELY cold, but we survived it.

I hope everyone had a wonderful Thanksgiving and is getting into the CHRISTmas spirit!

But the angel said to them, 'Do not be afraid. I bring you good news of great joy that will be for all people. Today in the town of David a Savior has been born to you; He is Christ the Lord. - Luke 2: 10-11

  2. Emily,

I just found your comment on our blog. It is so great to hear from you. I am just starting to get into it. I thought a blog would be a good way to document our time while we lived in Philadelphia. Your blog is too cute. I hope you and Reed had a great Christmas!
