Red, white & blue

The 2nd annual Fourth of July party was a big success! A huge thank you to everyone for helping out and for coming. We had a wonderful time! My grandparents came from Michigan and my aunt, uncle and cousins even came from South Carolina. It was great to get to see everyone! We missed those of you who couldn't make it this year, but hope you will be able to come next year. Everyone looked great dressed up in their red, white and blue attire (a must for the party!) I think my dad gets the award for the best outfit, it was incredible!
We are extremely fortunate to have both of our immediate families living close by. We get to see our niece and nephews quite a bit, which is wonderful! Mia, Tre and Ian were all at the party. I can't believe how big they are getting! Our exended family seems to be growing every year, it's wonderful! Tommy was in charge of the fireworks, so you know there were a ton! I've never seen someone who likes to play with fireworks as much as him. Matilda loved having everyone over and can't wait for the next party! She slept the ENTIRE day after the party, she was worn out from all the running around. We didn't know if she would like the fireworks, so we let her come outside just to see. Just like with everything else, she didn't seem to be bothered. I'm starting to think nothing bothers her! The party was great and I can't wait for next year!
