2nd Annual Girl's Trip

We went to Destin, FL for our 2nd Annual Girl's Trip and had a wonderful time! We stayed at the Majestic Sun and spent a lot of time on the beach. Everybody except me managed to get burnt! I promised Reed I would wear my sunscreen and I did! I kept my promise. I'm such a good wife! It saved me from getting burnt! It was great to get to see the girls from college. Not everyone was able to come, but we had a wonderful group of 7 girls. (pictured above, from left to right: Christie, Sarah, Courtney, Kelly, me, Cassidy & Jen) We of course spent most of our time reminiscing on the old days! We are all starting to feel old now that we are in the real world with real jobs and real responsibilities! Gone are the old, carefree days! We did manage a few wild nights out, but made it home each night before midnight (well, most of us did!) We went to Rum Runners (a piano bar) one night and had a GREAT time! They played the Auburn fight song, so of course we were the loudest people in the bar at that point! We went to several restaurants and ate yummy seafood and soaked up the atmosphere of the beach. I think Pompano Joe's was the group favorite at the end of the weekend. We also did lots of shopping at the Silver Sands outlets! They have all the good store there. I got the cutest green dress (thanks Jen!) and I can't wait to wear it. We had such a great time and are looking forward to the 3rd Annual Girl's Trip. We are thinking a ski trip and looking into Gatlinburg, TN & Boone, NC.
