Oops

I downloaded the pictures from my camera this morning and realized that the entire month of April was on there!! Oops! Even though tax season is over, YEAH, we have still been busy, busy, busy.
Here's a few pictures from some of our April happenings...

Mia & Tré playing at Grandma & Grandpa's house. They're always up to something!

The little gardener, hard at work.

My sister and I took the kids to the zoo on afternoon. Of course, we picked a really cold and dreary day, but it was still fun! Getting pictures of these two is a constant challenge for me, but totally worth it! I am completely biased, but they are two of the most adorable kids I know!! They are both getting so big and grown up. I can't believe Mia will be in 1st grade soon!!

I don't know if I have blogged about this, but since January one of my very dear friends has been teaching on a maternity leave for the girl who teaches directly across the hall from me! This was such a delight! Brooke was an absolute blessing to have in 2nd grade and we were ALL so sad to see her time come to end. She is now at Shades Mountain and we all miss her tremendously! The 2nd grade teachers all went out to eat for dinner one night at the end of Brooke's time with us. We're still hoping she'll end up at Bluff Park one day! We miss you Brooke!

Last Saturday, we spent the day out at Stadium Fest. It was at Seibert Stadium at Samford University and was a lot of fun! Chris Tomlin, Louie Giglio & Jeremy Camp were all there! We had a wonderful day sitting in the warm sunshine and listening to Louie (who is incredible everytime), Chris & Jeremy.

And last, but not least, here is our oh-so-spoiled dog getting a rub down & treats from Mia and Tré. The kids went to church with Reed and I on Sunday and then spent the afternoon at our house. It was a lot of fun to get to spend the day with them, but also nice to drop them off at mom & dad's at night!! We love kids, but for now, we'll just spoil the nieces & nephews!

There's a quick run-down of the last month in our house! The school year is quickly coming to a close and summer is right around the corner. 15 days away, not that I'm counting. There are some big changes in store for next year, but I'll wait for the official word before I go into it! I am really excited about the challenges & experiences God is giving me and can't wait to see where it leads.
